NEG was established by Neo Investments as an investment platform with a focus on renewable energy companies and projects. Its team has been active in the sector for over ten years; together with Neo Investments has successfully developed and sold numerous wind projects such as the Marszewo and Tolkowiec Wind Farms. It has also developed and sold Eco Wind Construction one of pioneers in Polish Wind Energy market. The company was sold in two tranches to CEZ for PLN 170m. The Neo Energy Group is currently engaged in developing the largest PV and Wind farm projects in Poland. Its flagship PV project Przykona is the first large-scale photovoltaic project developed in Poland, with installed capacity of 244 MW. The Group is also a majority shareholder in one of the largest Wind Farm Projects based in Pomerania Drzeżewo and Człuchów counties with a total installed capacity of 211 MW. The Group’s portfolio includes Neo Bio Energy, a company engaged in producing green energy from landfill biogas, operating 23 power generation plants located at the largest landfills in Poland. The Group’s philosophy continuous development of renewable energy sources. We are basing it on the assumption of a long term need to replace energy sources powered by fossil fuels to renewables.
