At North Carolina State University’s Center for Geospatial Analytics, pushing the boundaries of spatial data science to advance discovery and inform real-world decision-making is what we do. Our world-renowned researchers collaborate across disciplines as diverse as design, engineering, public health, natural resources and computer science to answer pressing questions about the world and address environmental and societal challenges. Through our signature academic programs, we train new generations of geospatial data scientists and GIS professionals to tackle emerging issues and leverage new technologies. Our pioneering professional master’s degree in Geospatial Information Science and Technology can be earned completely online. Our interdisciplinary doctoral degree in Geospatial Analytics is also the first of its kind. Geospatial solutions are in demand in a myriad of disciplines –– from business to agriculture, to disaster management, urban planning and more. Through research, teaching and consulting, our community of experts work closely with industry, government, nonprofit and other community partners to produce data-driven solutions to real problems.
