The company also publishes computer software in its Encore® subsidiary. Navarre was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in New Hope, Minnesota. September 2013, Navarre Corporation moved it's headquarters to Dallas, TX and changed the company name to Speed Commerce, Inc. July 2014, the distribution portion of Speed Commerce Inc was sold to WYNIT Distribution, LLC. Sep 2016 WYNIT Distribution closed its doors.
