Naval Consult AS was established by Johan Kongsvik in 1984, and has since then tailored dozens of ships according to the individual requirements of customers. For more than a decade, Naval Consult has been leading the development of small & medium sized Fishing Vessels, as well as a making a big contribution to design of larger Live Fish Carriers. In September 2016 the founder Johan Kongsvik stepped back to a senior advisor role, while the former employee Erlend Hagen has taken over the position as CEO. The company is currently establishing a branch office in Poland, and is now busy delivering design packages for several new fishing vessels. The mission of Naval Consult is to stay in a leading position in the key segment small & medium size Fishing Vessels, as well as expanding into design of other and larger ships.
