The National Women's Collaborative is an online community that provides professional women with a safe, supportive space to connect with women-owned and operated firms to advance and enhance their careers. Whether you seek to land a job, make a transition, renew your purpose or get back in the mix of professional life, the National Women's Collaborative is here for you. Our Story The National Women's Collaborative (NWC) began as a safe space for women to convene, share ideas and experiences, access job resources and co-create opportunities. In February 2020, we secured a beautiful office space in Washington, D.C., on L Street, complete with a rooftop reception to meet all of the Collaborative's working and networking needs. Then as realities of the pandemic became direr, virtually everything in D.C. closed, along with NWC's spaces (a change that, at the time, we did not know would become permanent). Like so many organizations, we pivoted to working and meeting online, and NWC's online Collaborative of women was born. We started a Facebook Group and grew to an online community of over 1,000 women in a few short months. These women - our collaborators - share ideas and information in the group and help each other solve problems or capitalize on opportunities. Thought leaders in our group offer their advice and services in specific areas of interest to our members. It is the ideal "give and get" exchange. Since the beginning of 2021, we have provided monthly informational seminars and networking events online. As we move out of the pandemic and toward normalcy, we plan to convene in person with regional conferences, workshops and social events. So whether you are looking to broaden your professional horizons, share ideas, expand your network or renew your purpose, NWC is here for you. Welcome home!
