NaTHNaC was created by the Department of Health in 2002 with the goal of protecting the health of British travellers. We provide information for travel to any country in the world for both travellers and health professionals. To ensure our advice is current; we monitor for international disease outbreaks on a daily basis, provide travel health updates, detail global health events and highlight advances in travel medicine. We work in partnership with: • Hospital for Tropical Diseases • Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine • London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine • Public Health England • University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust We also promote high standards in travel medicine and support health professionals via our national telephone advice line for complex queries about itineraries or travellers with special health needs.
