Overview

The National Association of Rehabilitation Providers & Agencies (NARA) was founded in 1978 and functions as a trade association representing the interests of organization members across the US. NARA's membership is open to rehab organizations and those who provide support to rehab providers. Current membership represents rehab businesses consisting of over 80,000 healthcare professionals dedicated to providing a multitude of skilled rehabilitation therapy services to individuals in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, skilled care, assisted living, educational systems, and occupational health. Although tenured with a vast and successful history, the association continues to evolve and invigorate its dynamics and infrastructure to positively represent and affect change in the rehabilitation therapy industry. Mission: To provide knowledge, support, and resources to Rehabilitation Therapy providers and their employees. To foster unity amongst our members and help bridge the gap between clinical excellence and successful business management in an ever changing health care environment. NARA is committed to providing members with solutions to survive and thrive within this ever-changing healthcare environment through knowledgeable leaders and advisors, effective and proven advocacy efforts and through fostering a culture of networking and sharing of best practices to help members bridge the gap between clinical effectiveness & successful business management.
