NAPE (National Energy Conservation Agency) was founded in 1994 by the Energy Conservation Foundation created by the Polish Development Bank and it focuses primarily on identification of energy efficiency measures in all energy consumers sectors. NAPE team is composed of engineers and economists who provide expertise for systematic preparation of investment projects in different scales and for different kind of customers (industry, housing co-operatives, condominiums, facility managers, public authorities). On request of international financing institutions (EIB, EBRD, World Bank), NAPE team undertook also several market studies in this area. The energy audits elaborated by NAPE team are in compliance with EN-16247, ISO 50002, Polish rules of energy auditing (Act on thermal refurbishment of buildings (1998) and Act on energy efficiency (2016)). So far NAPE has prepared over 4000 energy audits of: buildings, energy installations and technological processes in SME`s and in large companies. The engineers involved in this activity are either certified by independent bodies or have proven academic background. The core team of experts has been additionally certified by AEE (Association of Energy Engineers – USA).
