Overview

COURSE DESCRIPTION Moor Allerton Golf Course is a fabulous 27-hole parkland course, with a magnificant layout that blends in beautifully with the Yorkshire landscape. It is the first course in the UK to be designed by world-renowned architect Robert Trent-Jones Sr, t.he golf architect of Augusta. The 220 acres are stunning and demanding at the same time, due to the nature of the rolling terrain and sloping greens which provides a challenge to both casual and competitive golfers alike. The big greens throughout the 27 holes make it a real test of a player's putting skills and every hole has something a little different, whether it's a stream to avoid or an elevated green protected by plenty of bunkers. Since opening, Moor Allerton Golf Course has hosted to the likes of Sir Nick Faldo, Greg Norman and Seve Ballesteros. In 2017 it hosts the Clipper Logistics Players Championship on the PGA EuroPro Tour again. Moor Allerton's three loops of nine: Lakes – Par 71 (6221 yards) Blackmoor – Par 71 (6450 yards) High – Par 72 (6609 yards) “Described by Peter Alliss as a 'larger than life golfing experience'.
