Overview

Moonblink was a distributor of wireless and video surveillance equipment from 2002 to March 2016. Thousands of businesses around the world rely on our knowledge of wireless and video surveillance equipment. For over 10 years we have been doing our best here at Moonblink to provide a remarkable distribution experience. Alongside our vendors, service providers, integrators and VAR partners we have worked together to build great relationships and create loyal customers across a broad range of industries including: universities, coffee shops, manufacturers, hospitals, hotels, IT consultants, telcos, local-state and federal government agencies, restaurants, farmers, oil and gas giants, cities and municipalities, utilities, churches, casinos, law enforcement agencies and just about everyone in-between. History: Like something straight out of the movie Hackers, a young Kevin Sitzes (circa 1992) was hacking into the IBM computer network at his high school and replacing everyones “welcome to IBM” text with something that landed him a hot seat in the principals office and an immediate suspension of his school computer privileges. Meanwhile, his soon to be business partner Daniel Redmond was cutting his teeth as a top sales engineer at YDI, one of the hottest (and one of the only, at the time) outdoor wireless broadband companies around. Ten years later, Dan and Kevin had joined forces around their common passion for wireless technology. Rather than sticking with the status quo in their lucrative jobs at the time, they decided to go out on their own and put their passion to work. They began by enlisting Kevin’s girlfriend, some of their childhood buddies, previous co-workers, and even Dan’s brother. This close group became Moonblink, one of the coolest distributors of wireless hardware in the space.
