Overview

About The MFL: The Minor Football League (MFL) has been in existence since 1993 and has continued to grow since inception to now hold 16 franchise teams in America and 16 franchise teams in Africa. The league’s franchises are split into six different divisions. Three divisions in each conference. Each division contains six franchises with the exception of one division in each conference containing just four franchises. The Chief Executive Officer, Chairman, and Founder of the league is Richard Myles, Sr., a native Washingtonian and former player at Arizona State University. Myles previously played professionally as a member of the New England Patriots. The MFL is NOT a semi-pro league. There is no such thing as “semi-pro.” That is another name for sandlot football. The MFL is a 21st-century model and beyond. The MFL has changed the game of football on and off the field by taking players from the field to the front office. The MFL is a professional minor league like minor league baseball, hockey or the G League in NBA basketball. At the grassroots levels, all MFL players are required to partake in community service, a key component of the league's mission. The MFL is known as “the laboratory of change” and provides “integrity, commitment, and excellence in all we do.”
