Mildura Health incorporates Mildura Health Fund which owns Mildura Health Private Hospital. The Fund is the oldest open regional private health insurance fund in Australia, and the first fund of its nature in Victoria. Our head office is located in Mildura, but we have branches in Swan Hill and Broken Hill, providing our members a face-to-face service. With a focus on member experience, we offer a five-star gold product, no excess for day procedures and access to 445 private hospitals Australia-wide. The Mildura Health Private Hospital is a 51-bed facility incorporating the Banksia Ward for overnight patient accommodation, a three-theatre operating suite, day procedure unit, oncology unit and consulting rooms. Mildura Health Private Hospital is currently expanding with a $12 million redevelopment of operating theatres, patient recovery areas and central sterile service department. The hospital is also now home to the new state-of-the-art Mildura Health Cancer Centre where for the first time in Sunraysia and the wider regions, patients have access to radiation treatment. The centre includes eight chemotherapy bays, a patient education room, three consultant rooms and a procedure room.
