In 2016, DHD acquired Mica Beauty (MB), the brand. MB is a Southern California-based beauty brand with a vision to create an accessible beauty line with the highest standard of professional quality. At MB, we only source ingredients that are cosmetic grade and animal cruelty free from responsible suppliers and intermediaries. Our product lines stretch into the entire cosmetic/ makeup portfolio of loose/ pressed powders and liquid foundations, lipsticks and lip balms, loose and pressed eye shadows, glitters, eyebrow liners, eyeliners, and skincare. We believe in providing consumers with the highest quality ingredients without the short cuts. Our proprietary skincare formulations include optimal levels of active ingredients to achieve quintessential results vs competitors who only formulate based on minimal quantities to meet standard labeling and packaging requirements. Our skincare line contains a wide array of products to meet each consumers’ individual skincare priority, such as, anti-aging agents from peptides and hyaluronic acid, natural extracts for moisturizing, soothing, and healing, facial exfoliators, antioxidants such as Vitamin C and Retinol, and gold specks and flakes to reduce acne inflammation, skin redness, and protect against free radicals that lead to wrinkles and sun damage. Over the past 7 years we have been researching and developing a universal solution to a problem faced by foundation wearers- finding THE PERFECT match.
