The Company provides to the market the only intermodal service between Italy and France through Ventimiglia, which has been entirely shifted from road to rail and which connects every day from Monday to Saturday Northern Italy with Southern France, thus allowing the goods to reach their destinations through the safest, fastest and most environmentally friendly mode. The Company provides a complete offer for all Clients’ needs by ensuring not only a full range of 20’, 30’ and 45’ swap bodies, but also the support of a multilingual operations working 24 hours a day, 365 days per year responsible for organising and supervising traffic. Metrocargo Italia is part of a network of company partners operating in rail transport, shunting, maintenance, innovative logistics and training which numbers today more than 400 employees with an expected turnover of approx Euro 80 million in 2022.
