In 2017 we partnered with Rogers Insurance out of Calgary, AB to increase our capabilities, remain independent and leverage our combined scale with insurers. Rogers Insurance has over 500 team members throughout BC, Alberta and Ontario. In late 2022, Megson FitzPatrick, as part of the Rogers Insurance group of companies, merged with Burnaby-based CapriCMW to become Acera Insurance. As Acera Insurance, we remain local, independent, and employee owned. Acera Insurance writes over $1 billion in premiums, has 50+ locations across Canada, 1,000+ team members and 550+ employee shareholders. As the insurance industry becomes dominated by American companies, our distinct Canadian perspective enables us to better understand our clients and service their needs.
