    • B2B Sales And Service Agent
      • May 2019 - Feb 2020

On the Epson Project I was selected to work on the 'B2B' Sales Team. I provided general inbound support and sales to customers in the 'UK' market through phone calls, emails, and live chat support. On the B2B team we dealt with some large scale organizations we had established partnerships with such as the Manchester United Football Club, Burberry, and many more. It was imperative in my role that I helped clients achieve a holistic understanding of our product line so they could maximize the value of their purchase. I also would provide information to clients on product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.I had left Spain due to COVID-19 and returned back home to Canada; which I had planned to do when the EPSON project that I was working on ended anyways.

    • Owner & Operator
      • Jan 2015 - Feb 2020

I operated a part - time sole proprietorship event company called "Madness Event Management". I originally created it while in university as a temporary side hustle to offset some of my tuition, but I realized quickly that I was learning so many valuable skills through running my own business that I could potentially apply to my future career. The momentum and traction made it impossible to set aside. I performed tasks such as finding and booking venues, running advertisements, social media campaigns, sales, recruitment, liaising with clients and suppliers, handling logistics, managing budgets and invoicing, organizing accreditation, managing risk, and constructing post-event reports to analyze for future events.UPDATE - I had operated events in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada from overseas while I was temporarily working in Spain. For the time being I have decided not to continue with MEM due to current events with Covid -19 but also potentially beyond that as focus my attention on prospecting a new career path.

    • Inside Sales Representative
      • Sep 2018 - Apr 2019

At GFX I was a Inside Sales Representative; but within that role I had to wear many different hats. The job required me to manage all sorts of potential leads and customer projects. These sales leads could be generated through walk - in customers, inbound/outbound phone calls, customers emails and especially word of mouth. I would meet with business owners to discuss their needs for custom signage projects. Their was a endless amount of services we could provide for customers so as a ISR I had to know exactly how to price out projects ranging anywhere between $100.00 - $20,000.00+. Once customers had agreed on a project, I had to liaison with the multiple departments to ensure that the design, construction, and installation of the product(s) were to the customers satisfaction and completed within our agreed timeline. The work environment was always very demanding as I would need to time-manage anywhere between 10 - 25 projects (that are all in different phases of completion) simultaneously.Working at GFX was tremendous and I took great satisfaction in all the jobs and projects I had a hand in completing with my colleagues.

    • Cold Marketing Representative
      • Sep 2013 - Jan 2017

At Student Works Painting my part-time role was solely lead generation. I was responsible for accumulating a pool of potential clients for our sales team to contact. This role helped me build my confidence, comfort and poise when delivering sales pitches. Cold marketing is not an easy thing for everyone to be successful at, it requires you to take regular people (cold) and turning them into customers. Through the hundreds of hours I spent doing this throughout college; I learned how to excel in presenting our value to complete strangers and turning them into buyers.

      • Jan 2016 - Aug 2016

In Victoria with my previous position at Shaw (seen below), I was a general Customer Service Representative; however my supervisor had recognized my ability to generate a high average on a metric we measured called 'RPC' or 'Revenue Per Call'. I was offered a position to move into our Vancouver office where I worked with the B2B 'Moves Team' and 'Sales Team'. This was almost a lateral move but it was sought after within Shaw because it offered much more commission opportunities. With the Sales Team, I was in phone queues that were "hot" calls of customers who knew they wanted to buy, I just had to provide them with the product knowledge and direction to create internet, phone and cable packages that made the most sense for them in overall value and satisfaction. With the Moves Team, I was dealing with customers that were moving locations, and had to do account overhauls and relocate their equipment and packages to new addresses. At Shaw, once I had moved out of the Victoria office and into Vancouver's 'Shaw Tower'; I had felt that my voice and contributions held more weight than they did before within the company and really started to feel more valued in my role. Even though I had learned so much in such a short period of time and did enjoy the work I was doing, I ultimately I decided that I did want to finish my degree, so I left the company and had moved back home to Victoria where I studied.

    • Costumer Service Billing Representative
      • Jun 2015 - Jan 2016

At Shaw I started out as a Customer Service Representative. I was one of my many colleagues who was specialized in Billing but had to have a entry level knowledge of almost every other department. We had to be essentially the "frontline" to keep our other department queues down. This involved general Technical Support, account modifications (upgrades/downgrades), reviewing bills, retention, de-escalations and all general customer service.
