Mega Aero Training Academy is based at Rand Airport with several satellite training facilities around the country and cross borders. MATA trains in the aviation fields of Technical (Apprentice and Advanced) including a variety of regulatory training and type training, Cabin Crew (Initial and Re-current), Dangerous Goods, CRM, Fire Fighting and First Aid for Aviation and non-aviation industries, OHS Training, SMS (Safety Management Systems), Maintenance Planning, Airport Disaster on/off, Aviation Risk Management and more and offers EASA specialised courses once a year. MATA instructors carry a multitude of approvals from the SACAA, TETA, NAMB, EASA.
