Meat Traders (Queenstown) Abattoir is a family-run business providing certified quality meat and Professional Service to the Eastern Cape since 2003. Meat Traders was found in 2003 by David Osborne and Jack Miles and started on the same premises where it is located till this day in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. At Meat Traders, we are proud to say that we offer high-quality meat, remarkable service delivery and that we are driven to be industry leaders. We are a family at Meat Traders, and we expect only the best because of our high-quality standards of buyers. We control ongoing audits and we do not tolerate standard hygiene practices. As a result, we have been at the top with our hygiene score in our province. Our Abattoir facility compromises of the following departments: • Venison abattoir • Abattoir • Afval packaging • Slaughter floor • Beef, pork and venison deboning • Cold store • Wholesale – sales of carcasses • Buying • Value-adding section • Support and admin – drivers, security We currently supply to big chain stores across the Eastern- and Western Cape like Spar, Shoprite, Family Pick n Pay’s and Traditional Butchers in the area. Our meat is locally sourced from farmers in the area and we are trusted by farmers because of our quality professional service. We have incredible service delivery which is our pride and joy, and we honor time commitments. We are currently industry leaders in the Eastern cape but striving to be the best in the country. We have another location in the Winelands, Western Cape which supplies 70% to the whole Western Cape
