McKnight & Son Builders is one of the longest established building firms in Carlisle. Bob McKnight started the firm in 1965 and we celebrated his fiftieth year in the business in 2015. Mcknight & Son's has an enviable reputation for the quality of workmanship and personalised services. The firm has a diverse range of clients and is happy to take on any work from small maintenance jobs to multi-million-pound contracts at any time. The firm is particularly proud of its flagship John Robert Gardens development. In 2018 McKnight & Son Builders won the Building Excellence award for the best use of an existing building or conversion.
