McGill Pre-Law Students' Society

Law Practice

Overview

The McGill Pre-Law Students' Society, founded in 2009 in response to the growing interest of students in acquiring important resources and information to aid in the law school application and preparation process, is an up-and-coming student group at McGill University that strives to support students who are interested in pursuing a career in law. The McGill Pre-Law Student’s Society's mission is to provide invaluable opportunities and services to inform our members about the field of law and support students as they navigate their undergraduate degree and the law school application process. In order to achieve this, we host a variety of speakers, workshops, meet-and-greets, and a law forum each and every year to aid members in the law school application process. Members can also take advantage of a variety of other services offered by the MPLS, including working with lawyers and law students through the MPLS Mentorship Program or honing their oral advocacy skills with the MPLS Mooting Team, McGill University's only undergraduate mock trial team.
