Overview

Maxion Structural Components manufactures and sells structural components for trucks, buses, pick-ups, cars, tractors, agricultural machinery and off-road vehicles. Maxion Structural Components has over 5,000 employees and manufacturing plants in Cruzeiro-SP, Contagem-MG and Sete Lagoas-MG in Brazil, Cordoba in Argentina, Canelones in Uruguay and Monclova in Mexico. The company has one of the largest stamping capacities in South America with presses of between 15 and 5,200 tons, know-how in transfer systems, progressive as well as automatic coil feeding, all of which ensure repeatability and quality. In terms of assembling products, Maxion has expertise in MIG/MAG, TIG, submerged arc welding processes, projection welding, spot welding and joint riveting, bolting and clinch system processes. It also has systems for surface treatment and protection such as E-Coat, Top-Coat and Powder Painting. Maxion Structural Components is specialist in stamping and assembling parts from 0.1 to 12mm (0.0039 to 0,47 inch) thick, and up to 12 meters (40 ft) in length, as well as rolled side rails without any restriction of length. Our main products are side rails, frames, cross members, structural components, cross car beams, sets of pedals, parking brake levers, lock sets, among others.
