Overview

The Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) ETH digital Clinical Research (MAS diCR) is a new continuing education programme at ETH. It is designed for physicians and other professionals who want to make a difference. It welcomes participants who are keen to learn more about the various facets of clinical research in the rapidly changing environment of new digital diagnostics and technologies in order to answer clinical research questions that employ patient-centric approaches and novel technologies. The curriculum of the MAS diCR extends beyond the traditional scope of clinical research to include new, innovative, and digital approaches. It aims to foster a deeper understanding of the potential of digital clinical research in the context of its regulatory, ethical and practical environment. The MAS programme is completed part-time in two to three years and has a modular structure. It includes the mandatory CAS Digital Health and CAS Modern Concepts in Clinical Research as well as one of various elective CAS courses. At present, students can choose either CAS Nutrition in Medicine or CAS Regulatory Thinking as their elective.
