MCCPL is currently engaged in business of coal washing and thermal power generation. MCCPL has a 6.6 MTPA Washery at village Ratija, District Korba (Chhattisgarh) and 1x300 MW Thermal Power plant at village Bandhakhar, District Korba (Chhattisgarh). Maruti Clean Coal and Power Limited (MCCPL) was originally incorporated under the name Maruti Explochem Private Limited on March 8, 1999 with the Registrar of Companies, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh as a private limited company. Subsequently, the name of the Company was changed from Maruti Explochem Private Limited to Maruti Explochem Limited, pursuant to its conversion from a private limited company to a public limited company and a fresh certificate of incorporation was issued by the registrar of companies, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on September 17, 2002 in this regard. Thereafter, the name of the Company was changed from Maruti Explochem Limited to Maruti Clean Coal and Power Limited and a fresh certificate of Incorporation was issued by the Registrar of Companies, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on September 25, 2002. The registered office of MCCPL is presently located at Ward No. 42, Building No. 14, Civil Lines, Near Income Tax Colony, Raipur, Chhattisgarh-492 001.
