Overview

MAP AFRICA is a humanitarian action and sustainable development NGO created on March 25, 2018 in Benin and officially registered under the number N ° 2020-4 /080 /PDB /SG /SAG /SA of October 27, 2020 and published in the official journal of the Republic of Benin at 133è N °06 of March 15, 2022 and whose head office is located in Parakou (Republic of Benin), in West Africa. MAP AFRIQUE's mission is to include and promote economically and socially young people and women organized in cooperatives in rural areas, to valorize and commercialize their production in Benin. This is done through technical and strategic training, support in their communication as well as logistical and organizational support. We raise awareness of the importance of SSE, fair trade and the circular economy as levers for development in Africa, especially among women. Through the community self-financing approach and economic solidarity, MAP AFRIQUE aims to have a positive impact on the economic development of women's cooperatives in Africa. Since its creation, MAP AFRIQUE has developed equitable production chains by partnering with communities of more than 3,000 women producers. These transparent and long-term relationships are materialized by collaboration protocols with women's cooperatives. By supporting MAP AFRICA, you : - Act on the economic autonomy of women and society as a whole - Reduce social inequalities due to (early and/or forced marriages, Gender-based violence - Act on the empowerment of young people and adolescents through life skills, financial education, community self-financing and economic solidarity - Participate in the protection of the environment and the development of organic agricultural production - Participate in the digital inclusion of rural women
