The Malaysian Students’ Organisation (‘MSO’) of the University of New South Wales (‘UNSW’), Sydney, functions as an established social, cultural and educational non-profit-organisation. In a true display of Malaysian multiculturalism, MSO is not just limited to Malaysians, but also people from all cultural backgrounds and creed. MSO has been successful in helping newly-arrived university students make a smooth transition from home to Sydney, foster long-standing friendships and have a wholesome university experience via various activities throughout the year. Additionally, MSO acts as a point of contact between students and other local clubs, professional associations, volunteer organisations and government bodies both in Australia and Malaysia.
