MA.TE.CO. was established in 1995. The company represents a great number of clothing manufacturers based mainly in Greece and Bulgaria. Their products are exported to wholesalers and retailers throughout Europe; Germany, UK, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Austria and the Scandinavian countries. MA.TE.CO’s role is to coordinate sales, promotion, production and delivery of the orders. Our average production capacity is over 1 million items per month, depending on the level of intricacy of the produced clothes. The majority of the fabrics used are made by companies within our group using the latest circular knitting machines. The types of fabric we mainly work with are 100% cotton, cotton mixed with lycra (spandex) and other blends, 100% viscose (rayon), viscose mixed with lycra and other blends, as well as polyester, nylon and modal. There is a great variety in terms of weaves too, with our production capability ranging from the simplest to the most complex jacquard weave. Finally, one of the companies we represent produces chunky knits using flat knitting machines with a manufacture capacity of 60,000-70,000 items per month. Our products are delivered within 5 – 6 weeks of new orders or within 2 – 3 weeks for repeated orders.
