Overview

MaidEnergy is a local renewable energy Cooperative, created by volunteers to fund and install renewable energy in Windsor & Maidenhead plus Surrey Council areas. It is a community business, democratically run, with an asset lock to preserve its solar panels and any surplus for the community. MaidEnergy installed their FIRST Community Solar installations in December 2015 funded via a campaign completed in November 2015 at Norden Farm Arts Centre (Maidenhead). MaidEnergy installed their SECOND Community Solar installations in August 2016 funded via a campaign completed in July 2016 at The Magna Carta School (Egham/Staines). MaidEnergy completed 4 more Community Solar installations in the first quarter of 2020. Earlier this year MaidEnergy installed solar panels at Thames Valley Athletics Centre, and our latest project is another partnership with them, this time to install low carbon heating with ground source heat pumps. MaidEnergy's operational installations already reduce over 71 tons of CO2 emissions each year, based on the power generated. The more future projects we can deliver, the greater our collective impact. We will make the future renewable, invest in our latest share offer and join the environmental fight-back. New Cooperative Members / Investors sought, please contact us with any questions or for more information, which we will happily provide.
