Overview
Building on humanity's instinct to explore and leveraging Australia's unique capabilities, Lunaria One aims to boost sustainable activities in space. Our diverse team draws on expertise in biology, engineering, psychology and education, to create a vision for the future with a plan to realise it. Our first project is to place a set of carefully selected seeds and resurrection plants on the lunar surface to show that germination and growth are possible on the moon. We were recently successful in our bid for our payload of seeds and plants to be included on-board a Lunar Lander scheduled for flight to the moon in 2024. We hold the view that neither age, education, experience nor domain expertise are barriers to contributing to humanity's exploration of space. We thus build in core outreach and citizen scientist components to our projects, with the aim of democratising space for all.
