To reach the UN Sustainable Development Goals, electrification will be of great importance. Wind and solar power, electric vehicles, and energy storage all play crucial roles in the green transition. This results in a dramatic increase in the need for critical minerals such as nickel, copper, cobalt and manganese. The oceans contain by far the largest resources of critical minerals, and at Loke we have the knowledge, experience, and technology to explore and extract these minerals in a sustainable way. Loke is a Norwegian company founded in 2019 with TechnipFMC and Wilhelmsen as technology partners and investors. We have teamed up with world class marine minerals experts from exploration to extraction.
