Welcome to The Residency, where we are on a mission to provide debt-free higher education to every person in the world. Our program is designed for entrepreneurs, builders, and creators who want to take control of their lives and turn their ambitious dreams into reality. Our program is unique in that it offers the social experience of college with a revamped version of the traditional educational experience. Residents learn by doing, side-by-side with ambitious peers and guided by mentors. We provide free housing in Berkeley, CA for our residents so that they can be fully immersed in the college social experience. Residents also get to select their own projects and skills to focus on, and we provide mentors and networks to help guide them towards their own version of success. But it's not just about the social experience - we also prioritize learning by doing. Our residents get to participate in mixers with UC Berkeley-run student clubs and attend various networking events in Silicon Valley throughout the year. And the best part? We cover all expenses for our residents in exchange for equity in any company they start during The Residency. We want to align all incentives in order to create an experience that sets our residents up for success. Our founding cohort will start in August 2023 in Berkeley, California.
