Overview

LIPP Mischtechnik was founded in 1993 in Mannheim and is working as a medium-sized company mainly in the field of food, especially for the chocolate industry and chemical applications. Our product portfolio is based on one-shaft horizontal shovel mixers. From the start we were focused on high shear applications like wetting of powders without creating agglomerates, dispersing of powders into liquids and pasting of high viscous products. This led to the development of the single shaft conche which enables a very effective process regime and shortens the conching time essentially. There is also a big potential for chocolate rework processing with or without ingredients like nuts, wafers or biscuit. As our mixers can also be used for drying and reaction processes under vacuum and pressure there are examples of several other applications as for instance drying of chocolate rework with moisture or processing of pre-chocolate products. The unique rotor/stator shear head Vortex Chamber®, built into the mixing vessels accelerates all these processes essentially by even more shear force input. LIPP Mischtechnik also developed a new type of inline mixer, the Reflector® with a big range of applications for homogenisation, dispersing, melting and pasting. Our scope of machines was recently broadened by the bead mill Impactor® which is used for the newly developed and unique chocolate process ECO2-Choc® to produce high quality chocolate in combination with our mixers and conches. Approx. two years ago LIPP Mischtechnik became part of the STREICHER Group, which is active in various sectors and in total has more than 4,000 employees. This gives us the necessary background for a successful development in the coming years.
