Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with service offerings from Amazon Web Services Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is desired but not required Ability to write scripts (Linux shell or Windows powerscript) to automate provisioning, de-provisioning and reconfiguration processes within the cloud environment using vendor provided APIs Familiarity with building continuous integration and deployment environments. Experience with relevant technologies like chef, puppet etc Knowledge of core Microsoft OS stack components (i.e. Windows Server OS, Active Directory, IIS, MSSQL) or corresponding Linux stack components (Linux OS, DNS, SMTP, Apache Web Server, Apache Tomcat, MySQL) Working knowledge of host virtualization technologies, commonly used monitoring technologies and storage virtualization Familiarity with commonly used software licensing methods and license accounting practices in the cloud Capable communicator of technological information to business leaders 10 years’ experience in enterprise systems operations, software development or systems engineering College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines. Alternatively the candidate must show extensive prior work experience in the field of virtualized application hosting or cloud technologies Amazon AWS Cloud Architect Certification or Microsoft Equivalent
