Limerick City Build, Clare Street Campus of Further Education & Training is an innovative Training Academy and social enterprise that was established to create employment pathways for economically marginalised and socially excluded people in Limerick City. Community development has been hindered by core issues of lack of employment and social exclusion. The LCB fusesevidence based trauma informed techniques to traditional skills development, champions integral development of learners and provides a learning environment that is person centred and harnesses the assets of individuals & communities who have experienced adversity in order to resuscitate local enterprise & economic growth locally. We are gender specific and our programming is built around mens needs, male experiences of trauma and the male potential for leadership and regenerative power in the community.
