Overview

Lime Green was founded in 2002 and has established itself as the UK's foremost manufacturer of hydraulic lime mortar, lime plaster and lime render. Our products are used in a vast array of projects from London Landmarks to residential cottages and self builds, cutting edge commercial developments to art galleries and Chelsea show gardens. Our products have helped build, renovate and conserve iconic places such as Kings Cross, St. Pancras and London Bridge stations, among others. Memorial Arch, Gunnersbury Park Museum, Damian Hirst’s Newport Street Gallery, Shakespeare’s Globe and Westminster Fire Station. Lime Green's State of the art mixing plant is located just outside Much Wenlock in Shropshire. Continuing over 500 years of lime production on Wenlock Edge. We have capacity to hold 600 tonnes of raw materials, providing the capacity for a daily manufacturing output of approx. 100 metric tonnes. A sophisticated software system ensures highly accurate computer-controlled batching of ingredients for all lime-based products. We are also leaders in insulation for solid wall structures. Our innovative Warmshell System combines woodfibre insulation with either our Solo plaster or renders to create a highly effective, internal or external insulation system. By working with other companies and organisations, as well as through ongoing research and development in key areas such as product chemistry, environmental assessment and historic building maintenance, we continue to make our lime-based products even better.
