The Lila Poonawalla Foundation (LPF) 27 year old FCRA registered Non-Profit Charitable Trust established by Padma Shri Mrs. Lila & Firoz Poonawalla. LPF is sharpening it’s mission of ‘Women Empowerment through merit-cum-need based Scholarships and Employability’. They are also equipped with employability training, counselling, mentoring, internships & placements, to ensure that they grow into empowered individuals. This enables them to get respectable employment, which makes them and their families financially independent. So far, 8300+ girls in the School, Under Graduate and Post Graduate programs could pursue higher education of their choice and excel in their professional career. LPF aims to grow by reaching out to each such girl in India. Lila Poonawalla Foundation (LPF) is a registered Charitable Trust incorporated on October 9, 1995, under the provision of Bombay Public Charitable Trust Act 1950 bearing Reg. No. E 2133 (Pune) and having FCRA, 80(G), 12A registration and PAN card. Vision To contribute to the Empowerment of Indian Women by supporting academically outstanding and financially challenged girls, through Grant Scholarship to pursue higher education. Mission: To enable socially deprived and financially disadvantaged ladies pursue professional degrees and become economically independent and confident girls, who not only earn for themselves but also take care of their families.
