Overview

Welcome to Château L’Eperon, the family-owned domain where wine, hospitality, and the art of tourism come together. 🍷 At Château L’Eperon, we take immense pride in our heritage and what makes us unique: Terroir: Our 21 hectares on the right bank of Bordeaux boast a rich blend of limestone and clay soil, the foundation of our exceptional wines. Environmental Stewardship: We're committed to sustainability with our HVE3 (High Environmental Value) certification and thriving biodiversity. Grape Varietals: We nurture Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec, carefully crafting each bottle. Expertise: Our wines benefit from the wisdom of Hubert de Boüard, Château Angelus, through OENOLAB team. Independence: As members of the Vignerons Independents Association, we cherish our autonomy in winemaking. In 2022, we unveiled a brand-new chapter: Luxurious Villas: Experience the pinnacle of relaxation at La Maison L'Eperon, a 5* vacation rental house with a sprawling swimming pool, petanque, barbecue, and five en-suite air-conditioned double rooms. For a more intimate escape, L'Eperonnette offers three air-conditioned double rooms with breathtaking vineyard views. Winery Upgrade: Our winery received a modern facelift, complete with a state-of-the-art barrel cave. Tasting and Dining: Discover our degustation room and private dining space - the perfect setting to savor our exceptional wines. Education: We invite you to explore the world of wine through visits, tastings, and masterclasses. Events: Château L’Eperon provides an ideal backdrop for private and corporate gatherings. #werockwine #womeninwine With roots dating back to 1830, our wines draw inspiration from the limestone clay soil, akin to the esteemed St. Emilion Grand Cru. Experience Château L’Eperon in the traditional Bordeaux style and savor L’Eclat by Château L’Eperon, a modern twist on our classic wines. In 2023, brace yourself for two new cuvées, born from the exceptional 2022 harvest.
