Overview

LDA-DESIGN is a design research and consulting company established in Torino in the year 2000, that supplies a full package of activities, from concepts to production, in the architecture, automotive and industrial design areas. The Company has been founded by Luciano D’Ambrosio, former FORD Werke Designer, ITALDESIGN Design Manager and BERTONE Design Director. Luciano D’Ambrosio and LDA-DESIGN rely on a deep automotive culture matured through long lasting joint activities and partnerships with western and eastern OEMs, together with an unique cooperation experience achieved through supporting the establishment of automotive design studios in Italy like GM Europe, Honda and Chang An. The core of LDA DESIGN’s activity is the creative research in transportation fields, especially automotive and special vehicles, dealing with advanced concepts or production- oriented projects. The strength of the design team is guaranteed by very experienced design specialists and talented designers coming from all over the world, whose joined efforts are directed towards supplying innovation within highly creative, yet realistic design solutions. Besides its own creative output, upon request LDA DESIGN supplies, as well, all the necessary professional assistance to those clients willing to develop a project, already defined in terms of design, through the support of development partners capable to supply design assistance, engineering, model making, one-off and pre- production prototypes. All of this under the terms of highest confidentiality level. LDA’s new design studio is structured in such a way to allow the customers to develop network, as well as completely autonomous projects that can be allocated in specially dedicated confidential areas. Being an independent company, LDA- DESIGN can offer agile and cost efficient creative and production oriented solutions, based upon fresh ideas, new production methods, advanced technologies and alternatives approaches.
