Overview

Law for Palestine (L4P) is a youth-led, non-profit human rights organization registered in the UK (under the number 12518953) and Sweden (under the number 802535-8592). The organisation aims to build and create an effective global network of legal professionals who are interested in the Question of Palestine, provide enriched, two-sided and objective legal content on Palestine-Israel, and positively engage the directly affected community through building their legal capacity and connecting them with the international legal mechanisms. L4P also aims to spread awareness and spark discussion regarding Palestine-Israeli occupation relevant to international law and human rights areas through presenting opposing viewpoints and laying the foundations for a comprehensive system which collects and records all materials in relation to international law and Question of Palestine. Our youth-led organization is mainly composed of a team of experts, researchers and qualified volunteers from around the world, who spend most of their time voluntarily due to their commitment to the organization’s mission. Despite being established just in 2020, L4P has succeeded in becoming a credible source of information and created a discussion hub for human rights scholars and professionals interested in the Question of Palestine. In July 2022, L4P obtained the accreditation from the UN Committee on the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People. Law for Palestine also has a wide network of partner organizations and universities working on the Question of Palestine from around the world, including a partnership with a United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) member to conduct joint activities in the UN and the Human Rights Council.
