Overview

Law and Internet Foundation is one of the most successful and reputable non-governmental organizations in Bulgaria with activities in the field of development of the legal framework of ICT projects, and their implementation in all sectors of public life, particularly e-governance, e-commerce, e-health , e-education, e-justice and others. We are a renowned research center in the above mentioned fields and in relation to European policies and other ICT regulations. Since its establishment in 2001, the Foundation has successfully implemented over 100 national and international projects. Donors and funding bodies are the Bulgarian Government, The US Government, USAid, ABA CEELI, The Open Society Program, The Canadian International Development Agency, the European Commission and many others. Among the partners of the foundation are renowned universities as the leading universities in Groningen, Sheffield, Malta, Leuven, Rovaniemi, Hanover, Brussels, London, and international organizations such as Interpol, Microsoft, IBM, Infodom, Eurosupport, research centers, and others. Law and Internet Foundation is also an officially registered scientific research center to the Ministry of Education in Bulgaria with research activities in the field of ICT law, e-education, e-justice, e-health, e-justice, and other.
