THE LANDFORM DESIGN INSTITUTE is a Vancouver-based organization dedicated to sustainable mining and successful mine land reconstruction. It is currently administered and sponsored by McKenna Geotechnical Inc., a Canadian engineering and consulting firm that provides landform design, tailings, mine waste management, and reclamation services. Its mission: Landform design is a common activity in the mining sector by 2035.
