Idea Real is an open laboratory with great sinergy with the maker movement, especially the Do-It-Yourself-Biology (DIYBio). We encourage entrepreneurship, innovation, multidisciplinarity, and the development of active teaching methodologies. This space is a meeting point for students, teachers, professionals and entrepreneurs interested in biotechnology. Here you will have the infrastructure and technical support to work on new biotechnology projects, make progress on your product development, and find new talents for your idea. We are located at the Biology Institute at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, one of the greatest research institutions in Latin America.
