Overview

KNAPPE COMPOSITES SAS is a manufacturer of 8'' FRP pressure vessels / membrane housings called Xtype used for reverse osmosis, low pressure reverse osmosis and nano filtration membranes Xtype can be used for : Seawater desalination Brackish water, e.g. rivers, lakes, groundwater Household applications, e.g. softening, trace substance retention Industrial process water, e.g. solvents, paper industry, for waste reduction or also for the recovery of recyclable materials circular economy Municipal and industrial wastewater treatment for a "Reuse Water" strategy, e.g. irrigation for agriculture, process water for industry Food industry, e.g. breweries, wineries, dairy industry Medical sector, e.g. dialysis, laboratory Pharmaceutical industry, e.g. dilution water (WFI) , solvents Electronic industry, e.g. Utra Pure Water Energy industry, e.g. boiler feed water, electrolysis Bottled water industry, Ship industry Development aid and disaster control Main features and advantages of Xtype membrane housings compared to conventional membrane housings: *Compact design *Xtype membrane housings can be stacked directly on top of each other up to a maximum height of 6 membrane housings without skid frames in between *Up to 8 membrane housings (depending on flow rate) can be directly connected to each other via their internal connections *Modular design *Very low space requirement / very small footprint *Only a greatly reduced number of headers and couplings required *Manufactured in France *Certified according to the French drinking water standard ACS *The inliner provides permanent light protection and forms a barrier between the medium and the glass fiber reinforced plastic. This protects against microbiological growth and degradation of the FRP. * All connections/ports are located on the heads/end plates.
