Exclusive, handwoven cushion covers, throws, and blankets designed in collaboration with women in underserved communities worldwide. Kinship Collective works together with female artisans to co-create and co-produce uniquely designed, handwoven cushion covers, throws and blankets which reflect and lift their local cultures and communities. These products are handwoven in a sustainable, ethical process and they are designed and sewn in collaboration with women in vulnerable and underserved communities worldwide. Kinship provides market access for these products via our global marketplace, www.kinship-collective.com - where our products will be available for sale to customers worldwide. Additionally, Kinship ensures that the artisans are working in ethical working conditions and that they are paid directly and fairly for the work that they do. We actively engage them in the design/production process. And then, Kinship, with customer involvement and support, gives back to the community via our platform, Kinship Foundation, in order to optimize the possibility of long term success and potential for the women, their communities and their families. Our mission is to keep the artisans continuously employed, and to support them to not only live above the poverty line, but to be empowered to further develop their abilities and skills and create their own opportunities for personal and economic growth. Our Business Model allows us to create long term change through the delivery of social impact programmes for the artisans which are funded by donations from Kinship Collective to Kinship Foundation.
