Life planning is the art or human side of financial planning. In life planning we discover a client’s deepest and most profound goals through a process of structured inquiry. Then, using a mix of professional and relationship skills, we resolve the obstacles to these goals, create a plan, and guide the client to the accomplishment of these goals in the most effective way possible. Through the life planning process, advisors create tremendous trust and goodwill with their clients leading to § Greater understanding of and compliance with plan objectives § Higher percentages of assets under management § Lower client turnover § Higher referral rates § Greater advisor satisfaction
