Overview

Kids Kicking Cancer is an organisation devoted to helping children overcome the pain of cancer and other chronic illness. This non-profit, worldwide initiative is proud to be in South Africa, where we work with existing hospitals in different communities to provide weekly class sessions. Touching Lives We teach the mind-body techniques of Martial Arts instruction, breath work and meditation to empower children beyond the pain and discomfort of disease. Witnessing the transformation that children undergo through the programme is extraordinary. Often due to their illness they arrive feeling scared and fragile, but leave empowered and strengthened. Power | Peace | Purpose We teach martial arts techniques to help lower the pain and inspire new strength. Kids Kicking Cancer classes or one-one-one training takes place at all government hospitals, at no cost to the kids or their families. Children from as young as 3 to 20 years old enjoy wearing the uniforms and learning relaxation and breathing techniques. There are many more children to be reached. A wonderful opportunity for CSI Initiatives Kids Kicking Cancer South Africa is registered as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) No: 930061256 and a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) No: 211-751.
