Khagan’s name finds its roots in the Persian and Mongol culture. We support our partners like Marco Polo supported Khagan Khubilai a grandson of Genghis Khan. Thérèse Haq Qazi HAQQazQAZI created the company in 2016. At the end of that year she joined forces with Jean-Christophe Mathonet. Thérèse Haq Qazi is graduated in Law, Marketing and Communication before quickly moving into the world of technology where she helped to develop an IT consulting firm. On top of working her marketing skills, she quickly realized the potential of data-based decisions for the companies and created Khagan to, amongst other, focus on this topic. Having a MSc in management and economics, Jean-Christophe Mathonet is a senior CFO with more than 25 years of experience in the banking, insurance and entertainment industries. Early in his career, he started to use big data to provide better quality financial and risk management. From top to bottom and vice-versa he aligns the strategy with a pragmatic operational approach. Khagan is mostly active in Belgium but plans to gradually expand within Europe. Our team is mostly made of seasoned experts and generalists. We select them based on their specific skills and previous work experience we had with them.
