Overview

KETAAKETI (Nepali: Children, here a synonym for organic growth) is an innovative, autonomy-based model of partnership development and cooperation, created by A.S. Räcker. KETAAKETI establishes NGOs in the poorest countries, collaborating with local NGOs and supporting them in ways relevant and specific to their own national culture. These NGOs are created with an equal footing with these existing groups, striving to offer support without foreign personnel assistance. Unlike individual based aid, KETAAKETI fundamentally supports and sustains groups with an emphasis on strong social stabilization. At the heart of the foundation is the development of a micro-finance model that is interest free and promotes a sharing of wealth across families, villages and communities. Examples include helping people create cooperatives or liveable homes. Key Information: Founded in 2007, KETAAKETI is currently in cooperation with 9 of the poorest countries, consisting of 13 NGOs, predemoninantely in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Increasing demand from the poorest countries for this model. Currently, we have delivered 7,000 microfinancings (i.e., approximately 40-50,000 co-supported family members). Numerous awards: UNESCO (Sustainable Education), Vice President of Nepal, Federal Cross of Merit in Germany, among others.
