Overview

Keppel is a global asset manager and operator with strong expertise in sustainability-related solutions spanning the areas of infrastructure, real estate and connectivity. Headquartered in Singapore, Keppel operates in more than 20 countries worldwide, providing critical infrastructure and services for renewables, clean energy, decarbonisation, sustainable urban renewal and digital connectivity. Keppel’s Infrastructure Division drives the Company’s strategy to invest in, own and operate competitive assets in Power and Renewables, Environment and Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS). Keppel has an established track record of developing, owning and operating power plants. In Singapore, Keppel operates a 1300MW combine cycle gas turbine power plant and is developing Singapore’s first hydrogen ready power plant. Keppel also provides solutions that address key environmental issues, through its state-of-the-art waste-to-energy and water treatment plants. Keppel is also importing renewable hydropower via the Lao PDR-Thailand-Malaysia-Singapore Power Integration Project. Keppel is the first to receive conditional approval from the Energy Market Authority of Singapore (EMA) for the long-term import and sales of low carbon electricity from Cambodia, and also received conditional approval from the EMA for the long-term import of solar power from Indonesia. Lastly, Keppel also offers Energy-as-a-Service in Asia, providing holistic energy management services in China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore, whereby customers can deploy low carbon energy solutions to support their sustainable strategy.
