KECKEX - Thermal weeding with hot water steam The KECKEX thermal weeding system uses only the properties of heated water and steam as a proven means of weeding. With the versatile KECKEX weed killers, you can gently and reliably remove weeds from joints and other hard-to-reach areas. The thermal, natural weed control without chemicals with KECKEX weed killers also offers an optimal solution for careful weed removal in municipal areas, as well as gentle cleaning of open spaces. The KECKEX method: A steam mixture at up to 130° C ensures that the weeds on the treated surface are controlled in the same way as the root system. As our accessories are completely sealed, the steam is enclosed. This creates an atmosphere of over 100° C, preventing the water from cooling between leaving the nozzle and hitting the ground. The heat triggers a protein shock in the plant that destroys the cell wall. As a result, the plant can no longer absorb water, which causes it to dry out. Depending on the growth, repeated application is necessary until the weed finally withers away.
