Overview

KC Cottrell is one of the global leading technology provider in environmental industry especially for air quality control (AQC) and material handling systems. KC Cottrell was established in 1973 by the name of Korea Cottrell and listed on the KRX (Korea Exchange) in 1994 as the first environmental company in Korea. In March 2005, the company has merged Lodge Cottrell based in Birmingham, UK established in 1913. The root of Lodge Cottrell can be traced back to the previous century when Sir. Oliver Lodge made his first attempt to separate dust and ash particles from flue gas. In January 2010, KC Cottrell was split to two separate companies, an EPC and a holding company to focus on two different business sectors. Air Pollution Control System provider and Investment on environmental business. Over the years, KC Cottrell has installed more than 6,000 environmental systems globally. These installations are found at power stations, incineration plants, cement factories, pulp & paper, mineral & metal industries in the world. KC Cottrell has a wide range of technologies for removal of particulates and gaseous contaminants from various flue gases / exhaust gases. KC Cottrell's product portfolio includes Dry and Wet Electrostatic Precipitators, Ceramic and Fabric Filters for particulate removal, Dry, Semi-Dry and Wet absorption systems for Flue Gas Desulphurization and acid gas removal, De-Nox systems with/without catalyst, activated carbon injection for heavy metal removal, and VOC control system with Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer.
